We plan on letting our newborn sleep in the bassinet for the first few months. Any advice or recommendations?

I would show a picture to my doctor or pediatrician to see if they think it is sids safe with all of that padding but otherwise awesome to have baby so close!

That's what we did with our first until about 3ish months. Just easier with being able to keep an eye on them and keep up with their feedings. It worked great for us so we're doing it again this time too.

That pack and play is super cute. I have one but it does not have the bassinet on top. But we plan to have him sleep in the pack and play for the first few months.

That's my plan as well. I did the same with my first and worked out well. That bassinet is super cute, by the way.
