I have to hold off TTC because a family trip is booked for August to go to Punta Cana and apparently there is still the mosquito Zika issue going on and it's highly recommended pregnant women or women who are TTC must stay home. Well, the tickets are booked and non-refundable. My whole family is literally going and if were to get pregnant now, the tickets wouldn't be refundable and NO name changes. How long after the trip do I have to wait to TTC. I'm tired of waiting and waiting just because of a family trip. But at the same time, this trip is a gift from my 83 year grandfather to the whole family because it is his dream to have the family on vacation together before he dies and of course I want to be there for him. It just sucks that pregnant women can't go to Dominican Republican anymore... otherwise I'll TTC now and still go on vacation if it wasn't for Zika.
