smoking??

Are there any ladies who have smoked and either cut down or continued to smoke throughout their pregnancy?... NO BASHING THANK YOU!! If ur gonna be negative I'll remove u, it's a support app not a judgment one!. I feel shit as it is. I'm 32 weeks and I'm still smoking between 4-10 a day... I want to be smoke free it's ridiculously hard baby's heart rate is fine, I've paid for extra scans to check her etc n she's doing well she's measuring at 34 weeks 4lb 7oz and I'm only 32 weeks. I just don't like this situation.. a lot of people smoke around me so it's not like they're helping, my midwife helps support and advise but there's not too much she can do really. Please can anyone in a similar situation give me any advice or let me know how they r n their baby?

I smoked in the beginning of my pregnancy up until almost half way. I would quit for a day or 2 then start back up. Finally around 17 weeks I noticed each time I would have a smoke my baby would start wiggling and I think that's what triggered me to quit. Thinking about each time I smoke it agitates her bothered me. I'm now 30 weeks and haven't smoked since but to me smoking is nothing compared to what other women do during pregnancy. Just try your best! As long as baby is healthy all is good! No use quitting unless your actually ready and you will know when the time comes.

I smoked right up until a week ago I struggled for months and months from finding out dealing with every judgemental look.. you can only do what you can please please don't beat yourself up it's not easy but you might find it just cuts down until your stopped. From finding out I cut to less than 5 a day from twenty .. that one was a struggle. Now I use my vapour there no definable evidence that's ok but it's better than smoking! Have you tried?

Hey momma I'm right there with you I smoked with my first she was perfectly fine wasn't born early I actually was induced at 41 wks! I'm still smoking with this pregnancy ! It's so hard to give it up, but what really helped was giving birth because you can't have a cig while in the hospital and I shouldn't of even tried after I came home with my first because I probably could of stayed away from them. I'm 30+3 with b/g twins and still smoking between 5-10 a day.  I had an extremely stressful summer, miscarriage, death of younger sibling, lost my job, etc and was at almost 3 packs a day when I found out I was pregnant again.  My dr actually told me not to quit cold turkey as it would shock mine and babies systems and could cause more problems.  When I told him I was down to less than half a pack a day he told me that as long as I stayed under that he wouldn't tell at me anymore lol.  Obviously I try to smoke as few as possible but some days are better/worse than others.  My husband, parents, and in laws all smoke also so that definitely makes it harder.

I smoked before I knew I was pregnant but for me the decision to stop came very easy. I'm not sure why since I couldn't stop before but the day I saw that positive I put them down. Lit one the next day to make sure, took 2 puffs and thought what the hell am I doing? It's different for everyone and as long as your baby is measuring on point I don't think you need to worry. The one thing that could be an issue is asthma. Obviously the less you can smoke the better. Try staying away from triggers. Go for a walk instead of a smoke. Hell eat something instead haha now is the time to gain weight!! Hope that didn't come off rude at all!

I smoked when I was pregnant with my first son until I was abit 16 weeks then cut down and only had the odd few until I had him but my mum smoked in the house I was living which is basically the same as me doing it. He's 2 and a half and is healthy as anything. I don't smoke in this pregnancy due to being sick. 
Some of my friends smoked throughout there pregnancy and they have healthy babies. My mum did with all of us and we are all healthy. 
Not saying you should smoke but from my experience and theirs we had healthy babies. It is hard to stop smoking and even harder after having baby too. X
