Family pressure (vent)

Ashley
So, members on both sides of my family have had, to my knowledge, an easy time having kids, except for my cousin, but she was 35, and had two miscarriages. My family has, supposedly, been "plagued" with many unwanted, teenage pregnancies. Because of all this, when I talk to my mother about trying to get pregnant with my husband, she gives me this puzzled look, as if she doesn't understand why we have to "actually try". She asks me how it's going every month, and every time, I just don't know what to say, other than "we're trying, mom". I don't know if or how I should explain this journey to her. I had a miscarriage earlier this year, so I already feel like a failure. Is this worth sharing with her, even if she can't fathom the idea of actually trying to get pregnant?
