Asking anonymously because Im embarrassed. Id never touched myself until I was 20. Id just never wanted to or even thought about or considered it. I met my boyfriend at 19 and he thought it was weird so encouraged me to try. I did and at times I can enjoy it, usually more so when we are apart and I share photos or go on Skype with him. But I still dont feel like it often. And living with him I never feel like it as I can just have him whenever I want.

Thing is he loves the idea of me pleasing myself and always tries to get me to do it in front of him or gets disappointed when I say i havent in months. Since he does it daily and doesnt get why i dont want to.

When i do alone i usually watch porn and use a toy as i find fingers a really odd feeling. Like being able to feel inside distracts me too much.

I really want to be able to do it for him but when i try i just get frustrated and theres kind of this pressure now.

Just any advice or anything would be appreciated 😕

He's putting way too much pressure on you. Everyone masturbates differently, in different amounts for different lengths of time, and that's okay! However much you want to do it is the right amount for you. I would sit him down and tell him that you're fine with doing it in front of him (assuming you still are), but that in general it's not something you're really into doing and he needs to accept that. I sort of understand where he's coming from because my SO jerking off gets me really horny, I'm always asking him when the last time he did it was and how it was and stuff. But I feel like if he'd made it clear from the beginning that he just didn't do it all that much, it would be pretty unfair of me to get disappointed in him for not doing it. I don't think there's anything wrong with sharing your masturbation as a couple, but I do think there's something wrong with him almost demanding you masturbate for/to him.

I don't like to touch myself either. I never have. I haven't tried masturbation in years. Not everyone likes to, and that's okay.
