My doctor called me yesterday with the results from my pap smear and she told me that I have HPV. What I didn't understand is that literally a year ago, I had a pap smear and it came back normal. Everything was fine! And not to mention, I am ten weeks pregnant. It is scary because this same thing happened to my best friend and they told her that they couldn't do anything until after she gave birth. Once she gave birth and they did another pap smear on her, they found out that she now has cervical cancer. I am so nervous!
