First IUI Cycle
Hi ladies,
I haven't been on very much lately but thought I would update on our current status. After trying at home over the last couple of months without success, we have decided to go through a fertility specialist and have IUI. We were surprised that he had us start fertility drugs but whatever gets the end result right? Today is the magic day for the insemination... but perhaps chronicling to date would be useful for some.
CD 7 - ultrasound found one follicle 13mm, Dr had me start clomid 50mg a day for 5 days.
CD 12 - follow up ultrasound, one follicle 17mm, one 11mm and several smaller follicles. Aiming to trigger ovulation with hcg on CD 14.
CD 14 - ultrasound found two follicles matured around 20mm. Trigger shot administered for iui scheduled next day.
CD 15 (today) - IUI using fresh sperm washed and prepared by fertility clinic.
