Pros and Cons of IUDs??

Please tell me your personal experiences of having the IUD and which kind you have. When I was on the pill I had no sex drive and my boobs constantly were in pain, so I'm a little cautious when it comes to birth control with added hormones. Thank you for sharing!

I have the copper iud. I already had a relatively hevy flow to begin with, the iud only made it slightly heavier. And I get cramps now, and I used to not.

But the rest of the time I don't even notice it.

Before my little girl I had a copper one and loved it. My periods were a little heavier than when I was in the pill but still just 4 days. I've got another one since giving birth but I'm having a horrible time atm. Spotting from ovulation until period, random bleeds, pain during sex. I've had swabs and a scan so seeing a specialist soon but my gp thinks it's the coil but isn't taking it out until she's sure as she knows I don't want anything with hormones
