I heard that anytime for your parents and in-laws but to wait till your 12 weeks to tell the rest is this true ?

I told the world at 5 weeks for my last pregnancy and it ended in mc. But I don't regret telling the world because there is such a stigma around mc and it was good to break that barrier a little and to have the support all around while I was in mourning.

We've told our parents, close family members, and close friends. If anything goes wrong, we wouldn't feel awkward about telling them and would enjoy the support. Plus, I would want these people in my life to know I had something as HUGE as being pregnant happen in my life, no matter for how long.

It also explains why I haven't been drinking at social gatherings. ;)

With my first pregnancy I had told the world 4 weeks before I actually even missed my period. And it six weeks I had a miscarriage and it was terrible and it was made worse by seeing people after the miscarriage and then asking me how the baby is rubbing my belly so this current pregnancy if God willing all goes well I plan to tell my family at 10 weeks just my parents and my in-laws and everyone else after 16 weeks

I'd say it's really up to you. I'm only about 6 weeks now, and my husband and I are waiting until after our first ultrasound to tell close family and friends, and then we're waiting until 20-24 weeks to announce on social media because we don't really care if the rest of the world knows at all before I have the baby, but I want to be able to announce with a picture involving my cat like I've been planning to ☺
