So I've read more things about postpartum sex than I ever thought I could mainly because I've got a super human sex drive.

I know a lot of women lost their drive because of just having a baby but it freaked me out the thought that I had to restrain myself...

Anyway I was 9 days postpartum on Sunday when a kiss with my partner got extremely passionate, he didn't want to hurt me but seeing as I managed to deliver without any tearing and felt ok I thought why not give it a try (using a condom, infection and pregnancy being a concern)

I can honestly say I felt no pain and it was actually really enjoyable, having that bond back with my partner after not long having our child made me feel whole.

There was no rush on his side, it tends to be me who gets over excited and wants to be doing things.

I also managed this while massively sleep deprived (my son is currently nocturnal)

Anyway just thought I'd share my experience and see if I was a rare case?!
