What was your first sign of labor?

First time momma here, I'm 30.4 weeks along, and getting nervous. Just wondering what you've experienced!

No sign what so ever. Went in to my 37 week appointment, doctor hooked me up to a fetal monitor just to see and saw I was having contractions pretty close together. He asked me if I felt them, I totally didn't. He checked me and I was 3cn dilated so he sent me straight to the hospital. Shit got real after that lol

My first sign was loosing my mucus plug two days before I went into labor. The day of labor it started with intense menstral like cramps and moved into contractions and extreme pressure. My water never broke they had to break it right before she came out. Also I had diarrhea 🙄😩 the day before and day of which I have read is a sign of labor as well.

It was 3 am. I was 3 days over due and basically had just forced my husband to have sex with me to get things going. I felt like I had to poo so I got up and went pee, layed back down and felt like pressure/a pooping feeling. I thought just upset tummy, dozed off and it came back like a wave. I woke him up and told him to take time. 3 minutes it happened again, then again 3 minutes apart. He woke up and I sat up and I started to shake really bad like I was cold. We got in the car headed to the hospital and got stuck in traffic. Yes freaking traffic because a train was setting cars and taking forever. I actually got out of the car and was walking while cussing really loudly my mom was behind me and would hold me when the wave hit. But I got all the cussing I could out during that hour of being stuck because I was going to a Catholic hospital lol. 5 hours later I had an amazing 8.24 pound, 21 inch long baby girl ♡♡ no pain meds at all.

My first sign was my mucus plug coming out little by little for 2 days. Then the whole thing came out with the bloody show. 6 hours later my water broke. I was 38+6 weeks

With my first I had horrible stomach pain which I didn't know were contractions. I was back and forth to the bathroom and had my show. I got admitted at 1:00 in the morning and had him at 11:00 am later that morning.

Back pain with one, so I went to get checked out and was in labor.
Felt like I had to 💩 with the second, with little back ache, went to get checked out and I was having contractions and dialating quickly.
This time, hopefully I know I'm in labor! Haha!

With my first, first sign of labor was very small contractions around 5am. By 1230pm my mucus plug came out..and the rest is history!!!

I was a week and half over-due. I had some menstrual like cramps that just progressed, and I had a bit of the bloody show about 9 hours after the cramping started. No other signs or symptoms for me; my water didn't break until I was already 9cm dilated.

The first sign I knew of was my water breaking which is no-brainer. I didn't feel my contractions until maybe 4 hours later. But my feet that day looked like they were going to explode with how swollen they were I guess that is a sign of labor but I didn't know.
