no ultrasound?

So I went to my first doctors appointment and I didn't have an ultrasound done all they did was labs and a urine sample and won't do a ultrasound fir 2 more weeks I just want to confirm I actually am besides taking these test that look like this and I have no clue what they mean! I've never seen this!!

You're pregnant. They don't do an ultrasound this early on because there's nothing there to see. Everything is so small and forming on a celular level by the time we find out we're pregnant that an u/s wouldn't pick anything up. Be patient. Most doctors won't do one until 12 weeks. I got one at 8w3d because I was pretty stressed out thinking something could be wrong... and look at how tiny this little person is. It was half inch then. But with a strong heartbeat of 174bpm. Try to relax and trust the process.

That's normal. They usually like to wait until a heartbeat would definitely be visible on the ultrasound.

My midwife only does the anatomy scan at 20 weeks, no additional ultrasounds at all. So blood/urine screens are all I have in early pregnancy. Doppler will pick up baby's heartbeat from about 9 weeks. And that's all she uses throughout my entire pregnancy. I also don't receive one in my third trimester.

Get a clear blue test . A bit pricy but tells you how many weeks you're too :)

You are def pregnant girl. It's best to get the clearblue test to confirm for you, or go to a lab and get a blood test done, that'll confirm it for you in 30min
