How do you wash your toddlers face w/o then screaming?

My toddler is very independent. She shower with me watching her. Does good job on her body but not her face at all. She doesn't like soap or bubble as she calls them in near her mouth. This causes me to have to do it . I rinse towel off so there no bubbles . However she fights me and screams bloody murder every single time. Even cried for a while after.

Maybe instead of in the shower do it before  the shower. With her own "makeup remover towelette" you could wash your faces together pre shower?

Lol whatever works I be thinking my neighbors going call popo 😂😂😂😂😂 one day my daughter was throwing a tantrum older lady came and said started screaming falling out . My daughter looked like what the hell. The lady said exactly I look crazy right . I was laughing She said after 6 kids you take extreme measures . She good no more tantrum in the store.

I wring the cloth so its damp tell my son tilt his head back and close his eyes really tight and go im goooonnnna get tttheeee nose and eyes he usually laughs but if hes had a bad day he will whimper a bit

Mine does the same idk what it is about washing their face ... I have to hold the back of her head in order for her to keep still and even then she'll try to move or start crying like it's a punishment
