does your 3 week old have a bed time/ sleep routine?

Does your 3 week old have a bed time routine or set bed time ? I'm really confused as Iv read about this on the web and can't for the life of me work out how anyone does it. My baby sleeps at different times everyday and can take ages to settle also he will wake up at varying intervals sometimes sleep for 3-4 hours sometimes 1-2 hours. I'm breast feeding and feed him when he's hungry with no set feeding hours. Am I doing something wrong?

"Does she have a routine yet?" is a good joke in our house :) Our 4 week old will have the same schedule for a couple days, then totally shift as soon as we try to predict it. She is pretty consistent in getting up every 3.5 hours at night, but the start time always varies

I actually just started one since he turned a month old. I have an almost one year old (turns one tomorrow 😭😭😭😭). I start with my newborn at 6:30 with a feed, then bathe with him so he is calm and may feed during the bath (he seriously is a piggy in a tiny babies body during this growth spurt), it is a real awesome bonding moment, lotion and rock him to sleep with a full belly and warm PJ's may lay him on his belly for an hour or two to get his gas out and then have him on his back while swaddled. He will feed with in 3-4 hours. I take care of his brother next as he takes longer bc he is mobile and refuses to stay still​! We play for two hours before bed time so he can burn his energy, bathe, lotion, cuddle and lay him down for bed. We are learning it is bed time and going to bed on his own. We start at 8 and in bed by 9:30. Both babies wake up on the dot at 6-6:30 and if they sleep in it is a miracle. It's pretty easy but it doesn't always go perfectly.

My son is 4 weeks now. He feels into a pattern for awhile. He would wake 3 times at night the most ( midnight, 3am or 5am ) or  2 times ( 2am or 6 am ). I'm also breastfeeding just keep track of the normal nap times through out the day. It really helped me.

My son is about 2.5 weeks old. I don't have a routine for him necessarily, but sometimes he tends to stay up for a couple hours so at night I always wake him up at 9 so he can get changed eat and hopefully be to bed around 10:30-11. I suppose I should wake him up earlier so he gets to sleep earlier for when I go back to work, but that's not for 10 more weeks so this works for us for now.

My boy is 3 weeks and we try our best to stick to a night routine. Around 7:30-8 we get him changed and swaddled and turn on his noise machine. I then feed him in the dark and then rock him to sleep. He is normally out by 9pm and he sleeps in his crib. He gets up then at midnight and 3am to feed and goes right back down and is up at 6. We have been doing this since a week old and obviously have our nights that he is up but for the most part this has been working great. The schedule though is more for me to try and get a routine down before I go back to work I know he is to young to probably know what I'm doing.

We just started a bed time routine last night but that's because the baby has night and day confused. Around 11 pm on the dot she'd be wide awake until 1 am no matter what I did. So last night we gave her a bath, read to her, fed her (We also breastfeed on demand) and put her in her bassinet out in the living room with us and didnt talk to her or anything. Then we watch some shows until she got hungry again (right before we were ready for bed) I fed her/changed her and then put her in the room lights out. So sad she slept much better but I'm probably jinxing it haha
