Anyone with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

Just wondering how many of us are on here. I'm 19 and I got sick around October 2012, PVFS in January 2013 and diagnosed with CFS around June 2013.

I'm recovering and doing a lot better than I was but it's a slow process. Definitely gets  lonely because nobody understands it and I "look fine" most of the time and now I'm getting better slowly people often assume I'm a lot better than I am and can't understand why it's taking so long so recover fully.

Anyone else on here? 😊

Had Fibromyalgia since the age of 17, now 33. Goes hand in hand with Chronic Fatigue. Totally understand people thinking you look well when your not. I also have vasovagel syncope, with a pacemaker. From all appearances I look fine but there are days where my bp are so low it's hard to get around. I'm on disability, my cardiologist gave me a handicap permit for this reason and I still get people who have the nerve to you can't park there you look fine. Really when did they become my physician...lol.

I have fybro, neuropathy, and am also bi-polar. The fybro it really reaking havoc on me these weather shifts so erratic, I know I should be used to ohio weather, living here my whole life, but the fybro I think is making manic worse. Help anyone? Is there a page just for bi-polar?

im 14 years old and got diagnosed with cfs in january, aswell as crippling anxiety. theres also a high chance i have fibro and ms, my mum has them aswell as cfs and anxiety, and i’m literally as similar to my mum as someone could be. every day is a struggle, im learning to cope with it more but every day i still wish i could go back to a year ago and focus on losing weight and then maybe id be okay :/

Had it since I was 12.  Symptoms have changed over the years (stomach pain changed to chest pain and intestinal trouble) and I'm not as tired as I used to be.  Sleep is still screwy but now I as long as I get 4-7 hours I'm okay.  I can still sleep 12 if I forget to set an alarm.
It also turned into fibro about 7 years ago.  Gabapentin has been a lifesaver.  I'd be flat on my back without it but with it I feel normal.
Been quite a ride these 25 years.

I sympathise with you hun, I'm 27 and suffer from chronic fatigue, fun to, peripheral neuropathy, musculoskeletal issues, trigeminal neuralgia, respiratory disease, vitamin d deficiency which causes widespread pain, a severe nut allergy whigh causes daily issues and I just about manage to work my full time job as a pharmacy advisor, run our home and TTC our first child. It's hard being dealt such a crap health card but I keep taking the tablets and smile. keep strong ladies xxx

I'm 17 and have had CFS/ME for about 3 or 4 years and I get the whole "you don't look ill" thing allll the time, it's not fun. Especially when people don't understand that it's not an overnight recovery and even when we are a little better we can't just spring back into action again!

My heart goes out to you. I was diagnosed with a central pain syndrome, aka post-stroke central pain syndrome in 2013. 35 year old with medical conditions that most  would ever guess.
