twin pregnancy!

Ended in the ER yesterday with stabbing pains on my left side, as I suspected it was a tubal pregnancy. But we also found out we were having twins!! One is in the uterus and the other in the tube. They say this is VERY rare, has anyone ever experienced this? Ended up in emergency surgery and had to have my left tube taken out. Anyone know or have success stories of baby in uterus making it?
