hubby to the first appointment?

My first appointment is scheduled for 7 weeks, 2 days. They told me it's just an initial appointment. Blood work, etc. they'll do the first sonogram later. Is there any reason for my husband to be there? He is super involved but I truly don't need him there to get my blood drawn. Thoughts?

No unless they are doing ultrasound.

I'd say if he wants to go let him go. Even for the simplest things. My husband went with me to my first blood draw. Think it made him feel good just bring there.

It's completely up to the two of you. For our first, my husband only went when I had scans.  Mainly because of work.  The little days here and there add up. It meant more having him by my side the 2 weeks after baby was born.  Especially since I had an emergency c section

My husband is excited to go to everything! I'm counting myself lucky! Some people would kill to have their partner more involved without having to ask. But to each their own. ☺

If he wants to go let him. The initial visit is really for family health as well so the doctor love to here it from both side of the family just in case you don't know something hubby will recollect from when he was little about aunt so and sos pregnancy.

I say involve him in everything. The more invoved he is, the more he will feel connected to the baby.
