crib vs bassinet for a newborn
This might seem like a stupid question but I am a FTM and will ask anyways.
If there is more than enough room in my bedroom to put the baby's crib, are there any reasons to getting a bassinet? Any safety reasons? Other things to consider?
Right now we have a pottery barn Kendall crib which is in the nursery but can be easily moved to our bedroom, an auto rocking fisher price sleeper and a 4moms playard that has a bassinet in it. The bassinet I originally planned on getting was the Halo Bassinest but that's an extra $200-250 which now I am not sure there is any reason to spend if the baby can sleep in the crib from day one.
