IUD problems for their man?

Anyone else's guy ever have problems with their IUD strings? My husband has said a couple of times he's felt them now it hurts him. I'm just curious if it's an issue that will go away or we'll have to get rid of it and try something else.

To be crude, lol. It all depends on your man. If he's average, it shouldn't be an issue. But if he's packing some serious equipment, chances are no matter how much they trim the string or whatever, he's still going to feel it. Also, it's a possibility that he may cause the IUD to shift positions. Lol.

I had the IUD 2 different times. You may want to talk to your doctor and see if they can trim the strings more. If it is new, the strings will soften up a bit over time. I loved the IUD.

I've heard of that happening. The gynecologist can trim or bend the strings for you.
