Kegel Weight Exercises??

My boyfriend was telling me about researching about Kegel exercises. At first I wasn't sure what that was and when I looked up some videos and the benefits of doing kegel workouts I thought about going through with it but I really haven't. Recently he asked if he were to purchase kegel weights that come in different sizes and you place them like you would a tampon and do kegel exercise with it it will improve bladder incontence which is what I have, and better 'sexy time' for both. I'm scared to give it a try simply because I've never worn tampons. I am a pad girl ! 🙌🏼 I guess I need some advice! Has anyone ever done kegel workouts with vaginal weights?

I have, I love them, definitely make sex more intense, or interesting. And I don't like tampons, for whatever reason I just can't use them, but with the kegel balls, I don't even notice them really (like you know they're there obviously, but it's not uncomfortable)

I have done them, and they worked pretty well for me. I have done them with different weighted balls. Then worked up to heavier weights after a certain amount of time. It really helped with your kegel muscles becoming a lot stronger and you will notice that you have more control over them.

Also if you want a set of kegel weighted balls that work with you on the exercises through the app. It really depends what you are looking for. Kegel exercise help a lot in the long run too, for bladder issues, and they can make sex more fun!

Kegels and dilators don't make you looser or tighter. They are there to teach you to control your muscles. And secondly it's not an instant thing, getting the best muscle control takes lots of time and patience. Although you may see results in a couple of weeks, if you don't consistent train them, then the muscle control is back to where you started. I suggest if tampons are scary and/or uncomfortable the pelvic floor training (kegels/dilators) is the no1 thing you should try.

Okay, not sure if what you're describing are dilators. But basically, dilators are little plastic tubes, shaped like a tampon, that increase in size.
They are used specifically for training pelvic floor muscles after birth, and if you have a sexual pain condition like vaginismus. It's part of a rehabilitation program to get control of your pelvic floor muscles and relieve pain and discomfort: These rehabilitation programs are usually done by women's health physiotherapists or gynaecologists with pelvic floor specialty. In terms of vaginismus, which SO MANY girls on here will deny having, is an involuntary reflexive response of the pelvic floor muscles to tense and tighten upon stimulation. Making sex incredibly painful or difficult. This is where the kegels and dilators come in. The smallest dilator (size of a pinky) is used to see what the muscles can tolerate before it becomes painful. Kegel exercises are used to help relax the muscles and let them know you're in control. You can literally feel the muscles in your vagina ease off. When there's no discomfort you move up to a bigger size. What I can tell you from person experience having vaginismus and vulvodynia is that dilators and kegels are actually the most amazing thing ever discovered. I used to not be able to even put a finger or tampon in there,  it was so fkn painful and kegels/dilators helped me to train my muscles to accept larger things during insertion. Personally I also find a small vibrator and kegels also work just as well. Maybe even better as the vibrations relax the muscles (also foreplay) and this was even suggested by the specialist. Don't worry about it hurting, the point of the training is to teach your body it's not going to hurt. Some cases like mine, using a mirror to show your brain you're in control also helps muscle relaxation and control.
