numness

Hey ladies; I am 15 weeks today but for about two weeks now I have been experiencing numness in right hand all the way through my index finger. I did tell my doctor unfortunately I got stuck with a rookie doctor and he had no explanation. Its so uncomfortable sometimes i cant even feel my hand at all and this happens mostly at night. Have you haf this happen to you? I am not sure if its a nerve problem
