I really wanna go on vacation, where my grandma lives. To save money, I asked if my boyfriend and I could sleep in her spare bedroom for the duration of our trip. She finally said yes, but with the condition that he sleep on her living room couch while I stay in the bedroom, because she doesn't want us to get up to anything while we're there.  I've personally slept on that couch before, it's really an exposed position, everyone walks by you while your sleeping and I couldn't stay asleep due to her chuhuahuas barking and her watching tv right next to the couch I was on. Anyways, my boyfriend would really rather not stay on the couch and is willing to pay for a hotel. My aunt found out about that and she attacked me saying if he really loved me he would sleep on the couch, and he doesn't have respect for my grandmother or her house. No one got disrespectful? I'd prefer not to make him uncomfortable while on our well deserved vacation. Anyone deal with some family shit like this before? Don't u hate when family acts like it's Family vs Him??
