Why can't we just move on?

I guess I knew there would be baby mama drama but why does it have to go on and on and on?  We've been together for 2.5 years now and she's still throwing out "I'm gonna kick her ass" threats. Her kids been coming to my house since they were newborns; have always been clean and fed and unharmed, yet even today she's tossing threats about. She's been in a relationship for nearly two years so why is she still trying to have sex talk with my SO and holding onto a grudge that should been dead? Find someone, be happy and move on.....

I've been with my husband for 5 years . Him and his ex have been split for 7 years, we are married and expecting our second child together in early June!   She still is the same crazy she was at day one. Still bad mouths me , still wants to be a "family" with him ect.  He has made every effort to not encourage her in any way , he's had to essentially block her on the phone bc of obsessive calls and texts.  When he shows up to their daughters events she's always looking to make it about the three of them , brining him snacks and making sure he's alone.  She had made every step of this a nightmare! A literally nightmare. My husband adores his daughter, whom is now 8, but she makes it so hard to just be a parent.  I am also a "baby mom" so I never thought I'd have issues with someone else's.  I have to unique perspective to be on both sides of the fence.  I respect her insanely bc i know what it's like splitting and my daughter having a step mom.  I never imagined I'd hate my step daughters mother.  I didn't want to fall into that cliche.. however here we are over the same bs it sounds like you're dealing with.  She also has had the same boyfriend for years,  they have a house together and he's a great guy , handsome,  great provider ect.  It feels like she doesn't want my husband back, but she wants to make sure he has no one else. .. it SUCKS,  SUCKS , SUCKS . I still haven't found a way to fix it.  I just continue to be civil,  polite and respectful for the children's sake ! Good luck.  I knows it's the hardest journey!

Ugh. I felt that way all the way up until a cple weeks ago, about my SO's ex. She almost cried whenever she found out that I am pregnant. But now shes having blankets made with our sons name embroidered on it, for us. Dont quite kno how to take it.. but i guess she is finally moving on and accepting things.. idk. All i can do is hope. I hope it gets better for you also... good luck.

It will never end, people like that thrive on conflict. My husbands ex is like that too, I try to ignore her and not let it get to me, it only works sometimes, sorry, good luck.

It most likely will NeVER end no matter how good you are to the child. It doesn't matter to a bitter BM
