Breast Pumps?

Justine

Can anyone tell me what dual electric pump they use, experience and if one really is better?

My LC insists I get an electric pump and says I'd be wasting money if I don't get the Madela pump.

My milk supply hasn't suffered but my LC is so sure it will impact my supply now that I pump at work one to two days a week -I only work 8-16 hours

Ive been using an EvenFlo hand pump -yes, a one side hand operated pump- for about four months now. It's irritating and has been difficult at times such as when trying to feed and pump at once in the early weeks. Honestly tho, before returning to work with busy outings, appointments and such I've gone 4 hours or more between feedings durring the day at times. I used fenugreek a couple times but I don't think I needed to. On "low days" I still pump 120-200 between feedings or after baby goes to sleep. In the mornings I tend to overflow one container if I pump longer than 16-20 mins. I think I might have an abundant supply...

Anyway. My LC and some other sources say the Madela is the best. I've used it in hospital and it is great, but the price!!! I can get an EvenFlo dual electric with cooler bag and extra parts all together for 139 Canadian before tax, but just the Madela dual electric with no extras is 239 before tax.

Don't know...
