2 month old, cold?!? Tylenol? help! 1st time mom.

Hi!

My 2 month old boy is clearly dry stuffy in his nose. It looks like His throat hurts. He feels clammy but He has no fever. 36.5c He is eating fine but he wakes up crying which is not normal for him.

My Ped gave us Tylenol for pain or fever and I want to know if these symptoms would count as pain and do you think it would be OK to give him some Tylenol (half a dose) or should I wait for a fever?  He was smiling earlier and looking around. He is taking my breast fine for now and just went to sleep again but is constantly moaning while asleep.

I just want to make the right decision specially with giving him Tylenol.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Take a probiotic and it'll pass through your breast milk and help baby's cold. It's the safest thing to do.

My son has had two bad colds and a bout of RSV.... she said no Tylenol they have to tough through it and give lots of lives. Tylenol only for fever or pain.

I give my baby Tylenol when I'm pretty sure she's in pain. Just half a dose.

Honestly, if he's miserable and you're comfortable with it I would give him a little and see if it helps at all.
Also, try a cool mist humidifier in his room for his nose/throat.
