I've read that letting your baby sleep in a moving swing can effect the equilibrium and make them more prone to sea-car sickness. Personally since I suffer from this I don't think it's worth chancing it.

I wouldn't get Baby used to sleeping with motion. Bad habit that's really hard to break down the road. Do you have a routine? How long is she awake between naps? Those things will help with naps.

2 out of 3 of my boys loved their swing, loved it. I strap them in, hen grab a baby blanket and tuck them in arms down and tightly, like a swaddle, pop in a binki, and it's magic. My kids never had issues with it and napped wonderfully.
