Can I use melatonin while pregnant?

I haven't slept all the way through the night in almost 3 weeks. Its hard to fall asleep, and harder to stay asleep.

I had this issue in my first trimester because I was working nights (RN) and my doctor said no. Your doctor might approve. I use to take it everyday prior to pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck with your sleep, I know how frustrating it can be. Xo

My doc said no to melatonin, but yes to Benedryl. Benadryl will help you sleep.

Melatonin studies have shown it is not safe to take at all. It disturbs the natural circadian rhythm
