expecting..now what?

We found out we're expecting! Yay! But now what? Can anyone walk me through the steps of what I need to do? When do I need to go see a doctor? I'm probably not very far along, probably about a month. Do I wait to see a doctor til I'm further along? When do I start getting ultrasounds?

Call your doctor and they'll schedule you an appointment, usually between 8 and 12 weeks. If your office doesn't do pregnancies (mine didn't) you might want to look for a new office to go to. You'll be given an ultrasound and they'll determine how far along you are and estimate your due date. After that, they'll walk you through everything else. Congratulations and good luck!

Call the doctor they will ask when your last period is and guess how far along you are and make the appointment for you from there while you're there they will schedule you an  ultrasound to give you a confirmed due date
