still aching down there after giving birth - anyone the same ?!?!

Kinda feel like I'm going crazy here but I gave birth on the 13th January and had a 2nd degree tear which needed stitches. They healed just fine and the midwife did say the ones on the inside take upto 6 weeks to heal.

At the 6 week check up apppointment I told the doctor that I still always feel kinda swollen , achy down there and she examined me and said I looked to have healed beautifully so I should maybe give it more time. It's been another week since then and it still aches.

I've not have sex or put anything inside me, nothing to ever agitate me so what could it be ??????

Me!!! FTM as well, my little one came on January 24th and I had a 3rd degree. Some days I feel how I did in recovery in the hospital! I have my 6 week appointment on Monday so I'm curious to see what the doctor says. I can't imagine even imagine sex. I'm still bleeding heavily too, anybody else?

I am a most 10 weeks pp and I am still tender.  I tried having sex last week and it was still to tender.  It's normal.  I also am ftm and had a 2nd degree tare.  However it is feeling better as time goes on.

7 weeks pp and still tender. At my 6 week ob/gyno visit, Dr said 2 of my stitches from my episiotomy were not quite done healing. I didn't realize it would take so long either. I was cleared for sex but haven't had any yet.  I also still use my water squirting bottle after peeing as it still stings sometimes.

Same here. Ftm my baby was January 10 got stitches and still tender. Doctor said it will take time but I did heal nicely

Same, 10 weeks pp now, Dec 31st, I had some small internal tears that got a few stitches. I got the all clear at 6 weeks, Dr said everything had healed beautifully but I still am a bit tender, more on one side. I'm assuming it will get back to normal eventually, it has been getting better slowly. Sex is getting better, but definitely have to ease into it every time.
