first time mom

I have a question, so I'm still at the hospital after giving birth 2 days ago; I'm trying to breastfeed but my baby won't latch so I'm also giving her formula at the same time. She constantly throws up/spits out the formula or whatever it is. I'm scared cause she lays to sleep and starts throwing it up & I feel like she's gonna choke. Is this normal for new babies or ...? Pls lemme know
