i really need some advice!
Hi ladies,
I am facing a rather daunting dilemma.
Due to my "advanced maternal age" 😒 i have been given the option between an elective c section and natural delivery...
i am sooo confused, and have no idea what to choose.
I have given birth naturally to 3 children, over 20 years ago, however my midwife told me that if she was me, she would opt for a c section due to the following factors:
1- im 38
2- i have severe anexiety disorder
3- its an <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> baby
4- i have a high chance that my pelvic muscles would become weak.
5- my vagina will become loose nd due to my age, wont go back to normal like i was in my 20s with my other births!
6- my partner wont be able to be with me for the birth, so going through labour on my own would be traumatic.
Ohhh dear!! This sounds terrible!
So basically, i was advised to just go for a c section and avoid all the complications above.
What are ur views??
