first pregnancy compared to second?

Question

I got a positive pregnancy test in April 2015 at the end of the day that AF was supposed to show. I didn't think I was pregnant and hadn't been thinking much about it but my husband insisted that I test. Sure enough, a very dark line. I ended up miscarrying at 6 weeks though. 
I have an average 27 day cycle and am usually right on time. Anyways.. today is cycle day 29 for me and I have gotten negatives upon negatives.

So my question is.. did you get a positive much sooner with one pregnancy than another?

With my first daughter, I got a positive a couple days before my period was due. But with this baby, I didn't get a positive until 5 days after my period was due.

That makes me feel a little better but I'm still thinking it can't be true this month.
