I didn't get a chance to post my comment but I think you should see it.
I used to be like you with my ex who was my high school bf and we did long distance freshman year of college. The key word here is EX. It completely trashed our relationship. Given, he lied to me multiple times about HUGE things, and his dishonesty drove me crazy with anxiety and worry.
But unless your bf has done something to this extent, get it the fuck together. Or you WILL kiss your relationship goodbye.
I fight this instinct with my new bf. But we talk when he can when he's at work but it isn't a big deal if we don't and I have classes too. But we talk at night. We have lives away from eachother. I suggest you do the same.
