my boyfriend's weekend with his son is coming up this weekend, his last weekend, BM refused to let him have him... the cops were called and we did not have the papers signed by the judge to show them... this Friday, when BM refuses again, we will have the signed papers and call the cops again to make a report.. Apparently you have to deal with paperwork and the cops can't just hand the child over? So what's the next step? how do things work? how long will filing for contempt actually take? will a court date be set after the filing is reviewed?? what will her consequence most likely be?
