why I am worried my child will be bitten one day

Elizabeth
I am concerned that one day my child will be bitten by a dog. Not by our own dog thankfully. Our dog is noisy, very noisy. She grumbles when you pet her, like she is purring. Her tail wags and her ears are perked, so we know she is happy. When you stop petting her, she nudges for more, so she enjoys it. She gets really vicious sounding when playing tug of war. Some people are nervous around her.  She runs at you full force barking like crazy until she gets to you then sits and wines happily to be loved on. We have tried to stop these behaviors (which is why she sits and wines rather than jump all over people). We adopted her at the age of 5 almost 6.
I am afraid that my child as he grows will not take normal dog warning signs seriously. We do plan on teaching him obviously, but I still worry!
