anyone else with a low fetal heart rate?

I had a scan at 5 weeks, 6 days and the fetal heart rate was 75 bpm. It's my first pregnancy and I'm super worried. Will have a followup on the 21st, which feels forever away.

Has anyone else been in this situation?

That's still really early, the heart could have just started beating. Fingers crossed for good news at your next scan

If they detect a heartbeat that early it's usually low because the heart just started beating, I'm sure your doc will order a follow up in about a week and it'll be much higher then! Good luck

I went for what I thought was an 8wk ultrasound and they told me I only measured 4-5 weeks despite seeing a hb of 90bpm. Went back 2 weeks later and baby had grown to about 6 weeks with hb 79bpm. Baby held on but I eventually miscarried at 11.5 weeks, baby never measured more than 6 weeks. I will say I'm pregnant again 11.5 weeks and everything looks great this time. My OB didn't even measure the heartbeat that early, just the fact that we saw the flicker at 5 1/2 wks was good enough for him and I'm now 24 wks. The heart just started beating at that point, hopefully you get good news at your next ultrasound. Try not to worry!

My scan at 5w6d showed a blinking heart rate at best 106, then a week later it jumped to 145. I have an ultrasound on Wednesday for my sequential screening and I'm 12w now so I'm assuming they will measure it again. Good luck

I miscarriad at 6w5d with a hb <100. I'm not saying it's going to happen to you. Did they say anything from the report of the scan? 😞

Typically you can't even see a heart beat that early. I would wait a week before worrying.
