Do I really have to wait to miss my period to take a pregnancy test??

I just don't know if I can wait to take a pregnancy test until I miss my period! Anyone feel this way? What is the easiest you took a test? Brands you use?

I tested 3 days before and got a dark positive. It's different for everyone. I used first response early response
