Why not. I don't particularly like dresses period but that doesnt mean im not gonna wear what they ask me to wear to their special day. My fiance and i thought about going with old school victorian/steam punk style wedding. Everyone can do their wedding how they want. It doesnt always have to be traditional. If that's what you want to do they go for it!

Totally!  But I'm also a nerd and already have such clothes in my closet from various Halloweens/medieval faires/conventions.  
I'd probably make/get something new for a wedding though, depending on how much time I had to prepare.
