cereal in your baby's bottle???

My baby is 2 weeks old and he just seems so hungry. I've heard people saying not to put cereal in a baby's bottle and I've seen people do it. 
He's on 4 oz right now and if I up it he spits up way more. So do any of you give your baby cereal in their bottles this early?!

Feed on demand. Feed smaller amounts more often. Rice cereal doesn't really fill babies up. It helps with spitting up but that's about it. If he's still hungry then do more. My girls usually ate about 2-3 oz every 3 hours at that age but some babies need more or more often.

If babies spitting up a little it's normal if it's like a full on vomit your over feeding you can give baby 30mls of cool boiled water in between Feds if still hungry and babies also like to suck so they'll eat even if there not hungry have you considered a dummy ?

Feed your baby when it's hungry! 4oz is ok that what my baby was drinking at 2 weeks and now he's 5 weeks drinking 6! And my pediatrician says it's perfectly fine. When they aren't hungry they won't take it anymore so don't worry. Do what applies to your baby. KEEP GOIN MOMMY YOURE DOIN GREAT!

My son's doctor suggested I give my 2 week old 2 and a half ounces. I was giving 4. He hasn't spit up a lot since I switched to less. Their bellies are so tiny rn

Sucking is also a soothing thing. I thought my babe was hungry all the time but one night she had a big gas bubble and just wanted to suck to soothe. I'm not breastfeeding anymore so I introduced a soother and it's helped a lot!

You can get hungry milk formula.... they should do it in your brand your using. (If formula feeding) maybe try something like that and see if it helps

My daughter is 3 weeks old and for the last week I have been putting oatmeal in her bottle. I am highly against doing that. But her pediatrician told me too. I took her in for spitting up. She was putting out as much as I was giving her. She was basically starving. So the dr told me to put 1-2 tsp per oz of breast milk and the spitting up has completely stopped. She is happy and putting on weight wonderfully.
