Spotting?

I am currently 4 days late for af and I have been spotting very light brown/ pinkish discharge for the past day. I do not feel like my period is coming. I'm having mild cramps toward my right ovary and lower back aches. I went to the obgyn and she did a urine test but it came back negative. Should I get a blood test done? And if so please comment when!
