Are ultrasounds every 2 weeks normal?

My doctor gives me an ultrasound appointment every 2 weeks and a 3D ultrasound at 13 weeks, at first I thought it was okay since I have a previous miscarriage and this one is a threatened miscarriage, but I'm also worried too much ultrasound will influence my baby negatively.

I had to go every 2weeks too,after 3mc's and bloodloss again this time.But I found it reassuring and nice we get to see our baby grow every step😊
Ultrasounds aren't harmfull for the baby so enjoy seeing him/her so much 😊x

Yes if you've had a miscarriage before. I misscarried before this pregnancy and and I saw him every other week till I past 3 months  (since everything was going well) but then at 20 weeks ran into an issue that required surgery and bed rest so now I see my doc one week and the specialist the next week so now I'm always going and getting ultrasounds. Which is perfectly fine with me cause it eases my mind to see my baby and hear her heart beat.

I am having scans every 4 weeks due to gestational diabetes. They will sca you more frequently if they want to keep an eye on baby x

My doc gives me one every appointment. I like seeing my baby but the bills have really stacked up. I sort of think she is doing it for the money because I am not high risk. Now I am at the end of my pregnancy it is once every week instead of month.  I can't say no out of fear something will happen and I refused her advice. If you are fairly early on maybe get a second doctors opinion.
