Do you mind hugs from strangers?

Question

I don't mean random hugs...because that would be wierd for anyone.. I mean like meeting someone in a family setting, or when someone sees you upset, or at church, etc...
My family is a bunch of huggers. We aren't wierd about it but in the right context i think hugs are needed. Also we give good hugs.lol
So how do you feel about the huggers of the world?

Some people I just KNOW they're going to hug me. Like the district lead for Aflac I was working with, I knew right away in the first interview she was very maternal so I accepted my fate before we even shook hands. By the end of all of our meets she had hugged me at least three times. That's something I'm chill with, and I'd known her for less than two months.

Then there's the random guy friend you knew for five years but still aren't down with, you run into at Fred Meyers and you go to high five or not even touch and he's like "oh my god give me a hug" and goes for it. Felt fake. 
 I think it's entirely the vibe the person gives off. My bf's hair dresser hugged me as we were leaving from his appointment. Never met her. Was weird then too because she gave off a superficial vibe.

I am not a big touchy-feely person, hugs included. There are people I know who always hug me and I have grown to accept this but as for a stranger absolutely not!! I try to give off the "Do NOT touch me" vibe. I like to be very affectionate to my babies and young children but thats about it. Sorry hubby, not even you!

I don't like it. We just went to a thing idk what it was really. My husband said a benefit for a guy at work who's girlfriend died well it was in a dirty bar there wasn't any food nothing he was pretty much just going around getting money off people. Anyway I don't know the guy didn't know the girl I went bc my husband asked me to well the girls mom came over and hugged me and just started crying and wouldn't let go and started saying all kinds of stuff like " my baby is gone she didn't want to be with me anymore" I've never been so uncomfortable in my life.

I cannot stand hugs. If they aren't from my mom or my husband, or I don't initiate it, I just want my bubble. It's even more awkward with church family or family friends. Skin crawls just thinking of it.

The only person i let give me a hug is my bf. I dont like hugs or people touching me in general.

I just grew up in an environment where everyone hugged everyone. Not my parents so much, my mom has a huge personal bubble. But at school we all greated friends with hugs. It was so normal to me until I moved to CO and realized people don't do that and don't like being touched. It was an awakening to me. So I don't try to hug people anymore, except of course my family.
