Sleeping.
Hi mummas,
My little man was born at 29w3d in October weighing 2.3 pounds. He is now just over 5 months old but his adjusted age is almost 3 months and weighs just over 8 pounds.
My question is... When did you let you baby sleep longer during the night and not wake them for a feed?
My little man has managed to go 5 to 6 hours over night without a feed. I'm just wondering if I do this frequently will it do harm? I've been tracking his intake and he seems to be feeding just as much as what he was if being woken every 3 to 3 and a half hours.
He has had issues in the past where he gained very slowly, however he never actually lost any.
Any thoughts? I'm a first time mumma plus being a mumma of a preemie so normal advice from sites ect are hard to go by.
What did you do? Or if you had a full term bubs when did you start letting them sleep for longer periods at night? Or don't you have to do that? Sorry. Any support and suggestions would be great.
