Rough sex or abusive..?

Back story - I was extremely wasted with my boyfriend at his house. We cooked dinner, were drinking beer, stayed up until 5 am & played cards, listened to music, ect. Basically an awesome night.. Until yesterday morning when I woke up to this.. I don't remember having sex (I've never blacked out drinking, not even my worst liquor night) or it being what he calls "rough"... My entire body is sore & he said that I was enjoying it but this is definitely a first & I personally don't like rough sex.. But I'm not sure that this classifies as normal rough sex.. Idk if I should let it go & never drink again or if I should be mad.. 

UPDATE: when I asked him about it, he said he "smacked my ass & face a couple times".. My ear is bruised on both sides as well as my head behind it. My eye is slightly bruised but not black. I just didn't want to post my face & keep this post anon.

2nd update-

Currently waiting at the drs office & I've asked them to drug test me as well as checking everything else out too.

3RD UPDATE- 

Benzos showed up in my system (but I'm prescribed them for an anxiety disorder) the dr said other drugs could fall under the same category though so it's being sent for further testing. I don't think my bf would roofie me but it really doesn't add up to me that I can't remember anything. 

He's told me he's sorry a thousand times but when I asked him if he hit me hard enough to knock me out or where the bruises on my head/face came from, he has no clue. So I've taken a break from house visits for the time being
