I think I'd probably die if someone came and stayed in our house to "help". I like my personal space. I would honestly rather have our house turn into a pig sty than have someone stay.

My mom comes to stay with us. This last time she stayed 3 weeks. Such a great blessing to have her!

I'm super close to my family and no one 'stayed' to help. My mom would come over once in awhile and others would come visit.

Both of our parents would like to come. But they won't be staying with us. We will be sending everyone to a hotel.

My mil wanted to stay with me for a week after I had my son but I told her no. As much as help is nice, hes my son. And I needed to fall into a routine, figure things out, get to know my son. Let him get to know me.

My mom for sure, and we haven't discussed it but I think my MIL will also hang around when she's not needed to take care of my SIL's daughter.
