how long??

Question

How long was it after you had your child that you got to leave the hospital? And did you have him/her vaginally or c-section?  Please let me know :)

3 days for all 4 of my kids. It's nice to have help when I need it with feeding/sleeping etc. also don't have to cook or clean so gives me a chance to bond with babe before we go home to craziness.

I had my csection on a Monday and left that Thursday. My OB actually offered to release me on Wednesday but my husband had to work and we didn't want me home by myself. I was happy to stay the extra day. I was still pretty sore and needed the help.

Vaginal delivery at midnight left at 2pm. Could  have been earlier if they'd got to us for her check up before 1.

Vaginal birth and I was there a full three days. I lost a lot of blood and needed a transfusion. Otherwise I think it's 2 days for my hospital.

Check in on July 1st for induction had him July 3rd didn't leave til July 5th and I delivered vaginal

We delivered on Monday afternoon and are going home on Wednesday morning. They would have let us go home Tuesday, but she's pre-term at 36 weeks and they wanted a few more hours to monitor her.
