dipping too long can cause false positives?

Hey girlies! I find I like to dip my stick in a container bc I always can't hold my pee lol. I accidentally dipped too long I think some say 20 seconds other says 5 I think I mixed it up. Anyone experience a false positive for this? I had a faint line and I'm worried it was a bust 😮🤔😩🤞🏼

I recently got a false positive on a cheapie (from dollar general). I dropped way to many drops in hoping it would show a better result lol but it ended up showing a faint positive along with a bunch of dye run. I took 2 others afterwards (the correct way) and it was surprisingly still there but even fainter then the first and the last one I took wasn't even there. (It was around midnight when I tested). I haven't retested since. I just thought since I had a really bad dye run and it showed a faint positive it was false.
