Am I reading the opk wrong?

So I had like ewcm today but it wasn't much. So I bought some opks today and took one to make sure I was ovulating. I'm only 6 days out from af. I can't really see a second line. Does that mean I'm not ovulating at the moment or at all? I'm afraid to miss because I'm ttc with a donor. Any thoughts ladies?

The line needs to be as dark or darker then the control line

I've only been off my af for 6 days. I must have worded that wrong. Sorry. I know it's negative but I didn't know if being so early in the cycle if the second line not being there was an issue.

Definitely negative.  It has to be the same darkness or darker.  You have a couple days to go.

I started testing at cd7 and kept going everyday till I got my positive at cd17. Try doing that next month this is definitely negative
