cycle day 1?

So last night I started my period. It was about 9 pm and was light to medium. Just some red blood when I wiped. This morning I woke up to my normal flow. My question is, what should I consider CD1? Yesterday or today? I'm taking femara CD3-7 and will get an iui when I ovulate so I don't want to mess that up. Thank you for any advice!!

My RE states full flow must be before 5pm in order to consider that your first day. That night of spotting at 9pm should not be counted.

My RE says if full flow starts after 3pm then the next day is day one.

I would recommending asking the doctor doing the IUI what day they consider to be Day 1.

I would count that first night as day one BUT I'm no expert so maybe try some Google research??
