Does sex make a relationship?

Is sex a mandatory thing in a relationship?. Can you just not be a sexual person? Do you need sex to keep your man or your women?
How do people feel about this topic ?

Not necessarily seeing as asexual individuals are around. I personally enjoy sex and its high on the list for me but most important is being able to communicate and hang out as best friends; having shit in common.

Just as there are people who feel like sex is a base in a relationship, there are also people who don't need sex/have sex, and/or crave it to have a healthy relationship. It's your preference. If you are asexual or sexually active that is all you. No shame should be thrown at you and if anyone forces you to have sex with them and you don't want to - leave.

I've been with my boyfriend for three years and in that time the amount that we have sex has varied SO much. 
It just really depends on your relationship, I think the most important thing is to talk about it with your partner! 
To some extent there is just a natural flow, where you may find yourself having a lot more sex at the beginning of your relationship which is totally normal. 
There are other factors to take into consideration though: your own mental health/body image, sheer busyness and exhaustion, how you're feeling about your relationship/if you're fighting. And SO many more things that come up just being human.

I think that ultimately there is no rule for how often or even if you have to engage in sex! It's entirely up to you as it is so important to communicate your needs to your partner 😊

My boyfriend and I are LDR so sex is sort of on the back burner for the most part. Sex is important in our relationship but it's definitely not the most important aspect. It's our emotional connection and the friendship we share. If I couldn't have sex with him ever again I'd stay because he's my best friend and I love him. I'd miss the sex but I can live without it. I couldn't live without the emotional and mental aspects of our relationship.

I mean technically it's subjective but it is no doubt an important aspect in an adult relationship
